“My course will definitely help me with my career progression. The Business side of my course has prepared me well for learning the details of the contemporary and future global business environment which I’d like to work in. The Modern languages (Spanish) side of my course will aid me in entering into the markets I see myself operating in, but has also given me invaluable intercultural and interpersonal communication skills. This has given me a unique edge compared to some of the other business courses on offer.
A project on my course I have been proud of was writing a first class business report proposing a hypothetical international strategy for a UK beer company wanting to enter into the South American market. I enjoyed the creativity that this project afforded me to think outside the box, apply the international theories learnt in lectures, and grow my own intercultural awareness when considering how a company might change its operations in a different environment.”
