“I chose to study at the University of Exeter after taking a few years out due to a chronic illness. Before coming to Exeter, I knew I wanted to go to university but that I would need some extra support whilst there, due to my chronic health issues – thankfully, I have felt really supported throughout my time here by teaching staff, the wellbeing team and my personal tutor. I have an individual learning plan (ILP) which means that all my support needs are communicated to my teaching staff and I can complete my work at a pace that suits me.”
