What won me over about the International Business programme is the business simulation, which replaces the traditional dissertation. The business simulation gives students a thorough and practical insight into business strategy, management, business development, marketing, and financial aspects of business. The aim of this simulation is to give students real-world skills at the end of the programme, which they can apply to either their jobs or businesses they want to start.
I greatly appreciate how the lecturers take their time to explain in detail the concepts, breaking down complex ideas into easily understandable information. I find this approach not only enhances comprehension but also fosters a deeper understanding of the subject matter. The interactive nature of the lectures encourages active participation and engagement, making the learning experience more enjoyable and memorable.
Recognising the diverse linguistic backgrounds of the student body, the lecturers employ various strategies like using simple and concise language when teaching, using visual aids, multimedia resources, and hands-on activities like group projects to enhance understanding and promote collaboration and inclusivity on the programme.
The programme also offers language support services, such as language workshops and tutoring sessions. These resources provide international students with opportunities to improve their language skills in a supportive and immersive environment, enabling them to fully engage with the course material and participate actively in class discussions.
