“My experience of living in Exeter has been nothing but wonderful. My on-campus accommodation in East Park was always so lively and sociable. And it is equipped with amazing facilities such as the reception with studying spaces, meeting rooms, and games room. Moreover, East Park is placed in an amazing location that makes it extremely convenient to get to anywhere. Whether it is a late night shop at the Marketplace or the nearest co-op, or to your lecture hall at 9am, everything is within walking distance! It is also inevitable to feel homesick during the first-year of university, something I have certainly experienced, but being around such a close community like East Park, or surrounded by nature where you can watch the gorgeous sunset on East Park Hill with your friends, or even joining and committing to your society really helps ease that fear…Although it may be terrifying at times to start a conversation or to ask questions, but it is certain that everyone is in the same position as you. So don’t be afraid to make the first step and you will find that it’s not so scary after all, and everyone is more than willing to connect and help.”
