“Before coming to university, I was worried about funding since I wasn’t sure what options would be available to me as a non-British citizen. Thankfully, my school helped me apply for student finance, which I didn’t even realise I was eligible for. I was also nominated by my school for a grant for students from disadvantaged backgrounds, which was a huge help. On top of that, the University of Exeter provides additional support, like bursaries for students with low socio-economic backgrounds. This financial support has made a significant difference and eased a lot of my initial concerns.”
